Chesapeake Journey is Ed and Jane Luczak, who grew up during the Folk revival and Rock revolution of the 1960s, and have been enjoying music together since 1970. They perform acoustic renditions of classic folk-rock and country-rock songs from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Many of their songs have feel-good vibes and familiar lyrics that appeal to audiences that enjoy retro sounds, and might even want to sing along! They perform primarily in Southern Maryland near Solomons Island.
Chesapeake Journey performs with an acoustic guitar and hand percussion. We use mics for vocals, but we're not too loud.
Chesapeake Journey performs at small casual venues like the Solomons Island Yacht club, the Drum Point Club, the Tavern in St. Leonard, and private house parties, both indoors and outdoors.
Chesapeake Journey performs for free, with no tip jar or passing of the hat.
